Lamenting the Robot Guitar Commentary
Almost Famous' founding and sole member, Nick Zinnanti, decided to forge his own path in June of 2006 after leaving band Code: NY. The 17 year old from Bethpage, NY, confesses that his love for music inspired him to go it solo after his former group broke up.
Having released one self-produced record, "Starting Over," Zinnanti is currently pursuing musicians to join him in his band. He likens his sound to acoustic pop rock, with an edge. His self-proclaimed influences are the people close to him in his life, giving his music a personal and genuine quality.
When not playing at venues across the island, Zinnanti has lent a hand to magazine Highwire Daze, featured with such bands as Anberlin and The Almost.
"Right now, I'm just writing and hoping for the best," Zinnanti recently wrote about his current plans. "That's really all you can do, right?"
