From the supercharged band scene that is Long Island comes an idea--an expression of emotion that aims to connect and please.

With diverse musical tastes and influences the boys-become-men of This Condition bring a young, yet tried, outpouring of love and friendship to the musical stage. By embracing the power of melody they don't just strive to deliver their music to the masses, they throw it into the airwaves with a commanding passion to connect with listeners and share something real.

Without trying to follow a trend or burying themselves in a struggle to be "different," This Condition has found hope (and success) in using infectious melodies and the power of youthful energy to engage an ever-growing fan base.

Its been less than a year and This Condition is well on its way to becoming a staple in the Long Island band scene while growing a fan base that is reaching across the country.

The band was formed in September of 2006 when previous band mates Steve (drums), Nick (bass) and Anthony (guitar) began playing with guitarist Mike and front man Nate. After a few months of working out a sound that seems to blend influences as far ranging as 311, Cartel, Jack's Mannequin and U2 into a sound that is catchy, energetic and filled with emotion, the band was ready to share their music.

The band began playing shows in the spring of 2007 and quickly rose from the ranks "obscure local band." It wasn't long before they were turning the heads of people in the industry and LI band scene. The became regular big draws at he Vibe Lounge in Rockville Centre and have played to packed houses at the Crazy Donkey as well as other venues across the Island. They began working with manager, Larina Rivera, in the summer of 2007 and quickly established a very loyal fan base and consistent draw throughout the area.

In August of 2007 the band went into the studio with producer Dave Suchmann to record their five song EP, Find It in You. The highly anticipated EP was released to all-around praise and has catapulted the band to another level in their journey.

The band has shared the stage with bands such as The Dangerous Summer, Urgency, The Bride Wore Black and Sunday Night Scene. They are set to share the stage of the Knitting Factory in NY with Tokyo Rose and The Morning Light as well as other venues with Between the Trees and Automatic Loveletter in the Fall of 2007.

The band is currently planning a 5 day "Turkey Tour" for November a two week east coast winter tour. In the meantime, however, they will be playing all over Long Island and the NY-metro area. Future plans include making more good music and doing a national tour in the summer of 2008.

Where are we from, you ask?

Nate is from Clarion, PA and a graduate of Hofstra University and now lives in Brooklyn.

Mike is from Floral Park and goes to Marist College.
Steve and Nick are both from New Hyde Park and both attend Nassau Community College.

Anthony is from Plainview and attends Farmingdale Community College.
