Lamenting the Robot Guitar Commentary
Composed of sophomores in high school, the members of The Farewell Effect already have one demo release under their belts, "Apologies Aren't Bandages," and are currently working on releasing their second demo this summer.
Influenced by a range of bands, including Envy on the Coast and Bright Eyes, The Farewell Effect frequently plays at venues across Long Island, performing with bands Rookie of the Year, Patent Pending and Four Letter Lie. They have plans to tour nationally, age permitting.
They describe themselves as experimental and indie, with music as their passion.
Members include Mark Herburger, lead guitarist, Craig Kleila, rhythm guitarist, John Leibold, drums, and Dylan Ebrahimian, singer and keyboardist. All but Herburger attend Locust Valley High School, who attends Manhasset High School.
