Show Me Action is a five-piece rock sensation from Rockville Center. Formed in the late summer of 2005, the members of the band met through orchestral ensembles; they are all classically trained musicians and most of the members are still finishing up high school. Show Me Action has in its two years shared the stage with such notable acts as Nightmare of You, Moneen, Bayside, Permanent Me, Envy on the Coast and many other Long Island-native mentors.

After releasing their first EP in 2006, Show Me Action gained considerable impetus as one of Long Island's next explosive bands, developing a loyal following in the New York area with their energetic live shows. They have frequently been featured in such publications as Newsday, The New York Times and Club Alley, in addition to other local news outlets.

This summer they will be releasing a full-length record and touring the United States in support. Its members include Alex Lipton, lead guitarist, Danny Rocco, rhythm guitar, Pete McGaughey, bass and Jack Tangney, vocalist.
