Childhood friends Josh Sason and Christopher Antonelli of East Meadow united in 2006 to form Vibes, a piano pop band that shoots huge and thrives on their outspoken artistic idealism. They're joined by high school friend Michael J. Morgan on bass and drummer Adam Friedberg, the band's newest edition.

In 2007, Vibes released a self-produced demo, "Vibes EP." The recording features Sason, the lead vocalist, on piano and acoustic guitar supplemented by Antonelli's soaring, atmospheric lead parts. The debut EP ranges from ambient to epic, encompassing the styles of Coldplay, The Fray, U2 and Sigur Ros.

As of summer 2007, Vibes is in the studio again working on new demo songs. They've honed their live performances at local venues in Nassau County throughout the spring and summer of 2007.
